Start the soccer season off right with a week of fun and learning at the Tolland Soccer Club “Eagle Soccer School.” Scheduled just before the fall season begins, our camp will help your son or daughter develop the technical skills and confidence to make the fall season even more enjoyable. The camp is designed for players between the ages of 5 and 10.
Coach/player ratios are guaranteed to be better than 8:1.
Players will be grouped by age and ability to ensure the best balance of fun, challenge and skill development. All camp sessions will emphasize individual ball skills as well as fun games to apply lessons learned. Positive coaching will ensure that players enjoy the game during the week and for years to come.
All proceeds from the “Eagle Soccer School” will support the Tolland High School Soccer Program.
THS Boys and Girls Soccer Coaches Mike Caccomo and Erin Reed will prepare daily lesson plans and activities and will directly supervise all camp sessions. Mike has previously worked at both soccer and basketball camps in Wethersfield and has coached soccer for over 10 years. Erin has worked at Summer Soccer Stars and Central CT Soccer Clinics with over 20 years coaching experience.
The “Eagle Soccer School” will be staffed by current and alumni members of the Tolland High School Boys and Girls soccer program. All staff will have completed the USSF F License aimed at teaching the learning traits of U6, U8, U10 and U12 players. Our goal is to make the experience the best possible for the kids and for our next generation of coaches.
The Eagle Soccer School has become a “must do” for many Tolland youth players. For an affordable $100, the camp is a great way to develop your child’s love for the game and a chance for them to connect with some positive role models. In addition, all the proceeds from the camp go to support the Tolland High School soccer program. Your registration dollars stay in our community.
The camp is designed for the recreation and travel level players between the ages of 5 and 10. Players will be grouped by age and ability to ensure the best balance of fun, challenge and skill development. Each camper will be provided with a Tolland Eagle Soccer School t-shirt.
Tolland Soccer takes player, coach, parent and volunteer health and safety seriously. Both Coach Erin and Coach Mike have training in first aid and communicable diseases and carry with them necessary supplies in case of injury.
