Dear Tolland Soccer Families,

Did you know 2022 is the 50th Anniversary of Tolland Soccer Club?  Established in 1972 by Ray Markunas, Tolland Soccer has a long history of developing great players, championship teams, coaches, and many of us into the adults we are today.  Over 8,000 children have played soccer for TSC at some point in the past 50 years whether it be through our recreational, travel or TOPS programs.

Along the way teams have won countless tournaments, league titles and 13 State Cup Championships.

On Saturday, October 15th we will honor many of these teams with a brief ceremony and banner unveiling.  All past, present and future players, coaches and parents are invited to join us at 3:30 at Cross Farms Sports Complex.

To kick off the afternoon, the U11 Boys will compete at 2 PM in their second round State Cup game against the Southington Sonic at the Lower Cross 9v9 field.  Also at 2 PM the U15 Girls will compete in their second round match against West Hartford at Upper Cross.  Please come out and cheer on your TSC teams as they look to advance to the next round.

Immediately following the Cup Games, at 3:30 we will have a ceremony honoring our club Founders, past Presidents and Cup Winners with an Alumni game to follow beginning at 4:15 PM. Also at 4:15 we will host a skills competition for U3 to U99 players at Lower Cross.

Following the Alumni Game we will move the festivities to The Spot with a reception at 5:30 PM.

To recap:
2:00 PM – U11 Boys and U15 Girls State Cup Games at Cross Farms
3:30 PM – Ceremony honoring Club Founders, past Presidents and Cup Winners
4:15 PM – Alumni Game at Upper Cross
4:15 PM – U3-U99 Skills Competition at Lower Cross

We hope you will join us for a great afternoon celebrating 50 years of Tolland Soccer.
