Dear TSC families,

After a three month hiatus due to COVID-19 restrictions, we are happy to announce that we are preparing to return to play!

Over the last several weeks, Tolland Soccer Club has been working closely with state and local authorities, as well as our governing body the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association (CJSA), to develop guidelines and a timeline that will allow us to safely resume soccer activities. Phase one guidelines can be found at this link.  Phase 2-4 will be published as they become available.

Ryan Niderno has been appointed our Return-to-Play Director, and is leading a team which is currently developing the detailed processes and protocols which will allow us to safely resume soccer activities.  Specific programs highlights are below, and additional detail is available at tollandsoccerclub.org.

We also are sensitive to the fact that some families may have new financial constraints and we will be happy to work with you to ensure your child has an opportunity to play.  In addition, we understand that certain players may have different risk profiles and we will work with those families to accommodate them.

Finally, we appreciate everyone’s flexibility and understanding during these challenging times.  While we are optimistic in our planning for the coming season, we realize that the realities associated with COVID-19 may require us to adjust our plans.  If you have any questions or concerns, I can be reached at [email protected].

Travel Soccer (U9-U15)

• All returning players from the 2019-20 will be guaranteed a roster spot
• For teams accepting new players, tryouts will be held the week of August 10th
• Registration is open, and will close on July 10th at midnight (registration will require creation of a new account, username and password on the new Sports Connect registration system).  Due to the challenges associated with COVID-19, late registrations will not be accepted.
• Pre-Season Camp presented by Ray Reid August 17-20

Recreation Soccer (U4-U15)

• Registration will open mid-July
• The season will follow a traditional schedule, starting the week after Labor day and running through early November

TOPSoccer

• Registration will open mid-July
• The season will follow a traditional schedule, starting the week after Labor day and running through early November
• We will be moving the program to Tolland High School, and switching to Wednesday and Saturday

Play with Pride 3v3 Tournament

• Scheduled for August 22
• Limited to in-state teams only

Eagle Soccer School (ages 5-10)

• Scheduled for August 17-20
